OPPO releases the OPPO F5 in India
The device releases with AI tech for improved selfies
OPPO recently released the OPPO F5 at a press conference held in Mumbai. It has the much coveted screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and features something called ‘A.I. Beauty tech’ to vastly improve the pictures you take with the front facing camera.
Specs and features of the OPPO F5
The device releases with some exciting specs. Starting with the massive display on the front, it is a six inch display with a Full HD Plus resolution and an 18:9 ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6763T octa-core and is backed up with 4 GB of RAM. The storage is set at 32 GD but has a micro SD slot that allows a maximum size of 256 GB. With a weight of 152g, the OPPO F5 has a 3200 mAh battery, which is quite average.
The real highlight of this device is its camera. On the back is a 16 MP camera with an aperture of f/1.8. The front camera is a 20 MP lens with a f/2.0 aperture. The cameras will be explored more below. Furthermore, the company says that a variant of the device will be sold. This variant will have 6 GB of RAM. The colours available for the phone will be red and black.
O-share is a feature being touted by the company. It is a mode of fast file transfer been OPPO devices. Facial unlock makes an entrance on the device while the fingerprint sensor is present on the back.

According to OPPO, there are over 200 positioning spots that will enable the smartphone’s software to accentuate facial features and enhance symmetry to beautify selfies. The company has also included something called the iris tool. This helps emphasise the eyes in a photo while a bokeh mode is added too.
