There are two ways to experience this one. You can go the free route. That gets you a basic experience. You buy comics, you read them, and that’s that. Comixology Unlimited gives you access to 10,000 comics anytime for $5.99 per month. Those who read often may want to do that. Either way, you can’t go wrong. This one is the best for comics.

Google Play Books

Google Play Books is a fairly large ebook platform. It boasts a catalogue of millions of books, comics, manga, newspapers, magazines, and more. Everything you buy is synced between all of your devices. Additionally, it comes with various read modes for normal books, comics, and more. It is relatively new compared to something like Kindle and Nook. However, it’s been around more than long enough to work out the kinks. It’s a rock solid service and one of the better reading apps.

Lithium: EPUB Reader

The most popular type of ebook format is epub and this simple app lets you read epub books. There are some other features as well such as text highlighting, automatic book detection, night mode, sepia mode, and Material Design. Moreover, there is a pro mode for $1.99  which as one addition. About the only difference is the ability to set custom themes. That includes the text, background, and link colours. It’s a solid option, but only if your library is already in epub format.
