Google Assistant debuts on headphones

0

Bose has upgraded its Bose QC35 headphone to a new Bose Bose QC35 II version that supports Google Assistant. It has a hardware button that makes it easy to activate the voice assistant.

Sound quality of the Bose QC35 II

In this department, it is no different to its predecessor. It makes use of standard SBC to play music which is okay for most ordinary users. Hardcore audiophiles however, will notice the difference. The previous generation had a noisy rattle that happened during heavy bass. When it comes to low, they are still given preference while mids are quite clean. This problem has now been rectified. The active noise cancelling works even better than expected.

Battery life of the Bose QC35 II

Battery life is the same as the previous model. The company says it lasts twenty hours on full charge. This should be ample enough for most users. Of course, listening to it at a lower volume will allow you to prolong the usage.

Design of the Bose QC35 II

The design of the headphone is quite durable and can be bent and twisted in many angles. Comfort wise, they are ergonomically designed and can be used for a long period of time with no issues.

Connecting the Bose QC35 II

To connect to the headphones you will first need to download the Bose Connect + app. Once you go to the app, it will search for the headphones and ask you to swipe to finish the process. You then have to decide on the language and the nickname after which you can configure Google the Assistant. The Action Button present on the left of the headphone can be used to configure the active noise cancelling. It is available in three modes; high, low or off. Users of Apple’s devices can also easily connect as the Bose QC35 II works with Siri.
